As a lifelong learner, I appreciate learning new techniques that can be used to bring a sense of wholeness to my life and others. When we can unite with our True Nature we find the solace and the energy we need to go through our journey called “life.” Each modality in their own unique way helps to promote health and well-being, reduce stress. Meditation and Yoga practices can help calm the mind and body, and the breathwork involved can soften our tension. Sound and Energy healing can help to remove blockages, release the mind of judgments, as well as relax and renew. Aromatherapy can assist with aromatic and therapeutic means to restore wellness. Spirituality can help us connect to the Universal Truth and initiate transformation.

I embrace the practice of Mindfulness Meditation that has graced my life for over 41 years. Through my guidance, I will help you to slow down and find refuge in your mind, body, and spirit practice so that you can feel whole. If anyone would have told me back in 2016 I would return to yoga after a few years absence, I would have said “No way.” After my mold illness, I didn’t think I could return to “normal” because of the havoc it created in my body systems. Most people didn’t even know how ill I was. Besides, this was coupled with the personal traumas I had experienced throughout my life.
But back in 2018, I returned slowly to yoga after opening my office as a meditation studio. And here I am now, feeling healthier and stronger in mind, body & spirit with all the modalities that I practice. I’m not where I would like to be as yet, but the progress is amazing. It takes one step at a time while listening to your body and taking variations that work for you. Practice self-compassion and meditate and the rest will unfold.

Deb Phelps, Founder of Peaceful Wellness
Deb Phelps is a certified Mindfulness Coach who specializes in helping her clients overcome stress, anxiety, PTSD, and other life situations so that they can once again live purposeful, joy-filled lives. Deb has overcome significant life challenges aided by a variety of mind-body-spirit practices. By diligently using these tools over many decades, she found a life of contentment and equanimity. Through extensive education and life experience, she assists and inspires others to do the same.
My meditation journey began in 1980 while as a teenager. While pregnant with my youngest daughter in 1996, I embraced yoga as an additional part of my regular self-care routine. My personal life’s mission embraces the heart of service with kindness and compassion. Having experienced trauma, tragedy,and illness myself, I have found refuge in mind-body-spirit practices that have provided me with a sense of wholeness, well-being, and loving acceptance. Teachers who are inspired by their own healing and personal growth transmit that inspiration in their interactions with their students. I am certified both in mindfulness and meditation. I am also a RYT500 and certified both in Accessible Yoga teacher and Yoga Therapeutics. I include mindfulness coaching, sound healing with singing bowls, energy healing and my work as a certified aromatherapist in my repertoire. As a practicing Buddhist, I find that when I understand what causes peace, I know where to direct my efforts. May my efforts continue to bring happiness, well-being, safety, peace, and ease to all beings.
